Welcome to Honeycomb Cottage, a thoughtfully furnished, two-bedroom holiday home combining traditional character with modern comforts.

Sleeping up to four guests, the cottage offers a cosy living room with log burner, comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a private enclosed garden overlooking the countryside. Everything you need to settle in, relax and feel at home.

A restful night's sleep

Upstairs, Honeycomb Cottage has two comfortable bedrooms — one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds, making it equally suitable for couples, families or friends sharing.

Both rooms are thoughtfully furnished with quality mattresses, soft bedding and fresh linen, providing a welcoming place to unwind after a day exploring Northumberland.

Everything you need to dine in

Whether you're preparing a leisurely breakfast before heading out or cooking dinner after a day on the coast, Honeycomb Cottage's well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay.

With an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and a good selection of cookware, crockery and utensils, you'll find cooking here as straightforward as at home. There's also a dining area where everyone can sit down together.

A garden with a countryside view

Step outside into the private, enclosed garden, a lovely spot for morning coffee, outdoor dining or simply relaxing in the sunshine. Outdoor tables and chairs allow you to take in the fresh air and dine under the Northumberland sun (if and when it appears!).

Overlooking the surrounding fields, the enclosed garden is a peaceful place to enjoy the fresh Northumberland air, with neighbouring cows and sheep often providing a little entertainment. Four-legged guests are welcome too, making it an ideal base for a dog-friendly holiday.

The bright, modern bathroom offers a spacious shower with excellent water pressure — something our guests regularly tell us they particularly appreciate.
